en nu één voor Roos, de beste moeder van Sterretje
I completely agree with your reaction, my dear! please do read my textes in english again, I yesterday tried to write them better, I hope I manage that and that they now are correctlier (from a teachter to an other teacher! so it's from now on remaining as a secret between us, (o.k.), isn't it?)
I must admit I had to constrain myself but I do not wish to discourage you. After all, you're relating your experiences in a language you are still learning, something I can only applaud! Besides, your English, flawed as it may be, still is loads and loads better than my French will ever be.
But if you'd like, I can always come over and correct the texts with you. The teacher teaches the teacher. On one condition though: that you will help me with learning French so I may one day finally rise above: un pain s'il vous plait. Because that may quell my hunger, but won't get me very far otherwise! And I can not be constantly dependent on you if we decide to run off together to that beautiful west coast, now can I?
Well, it's long past my bedtime, so here's a nursery rhyme for you:
Sleep tight And don't let the bed bugs bite And if they bite Just squeeze them tight So they won't bite Another night
(Except when they are called 'Harry' of course ; P)
ROFLOL! Now that most certainly is the truest truth there is!
