The Garden of Common Speculation near Dunfries in Scotland is the
creation of landscape architect and theorist Charles Jencks. This
private 30 acre sculpture garden is inspired by science and mathematics
(black holes and fractals) and is not abundant with plants, but sets
mathematical formulae and scientific phenomenae in a setting which
elegantly combines natural features and artificial symmetry and curves.
